Local Foods Connection wants to thank all the contributors who help make our work possible. Their generosity is so much appreciated and valued. Thanks for the support!

Campbell’s Nutrition blessed LFC with a donation of $1,000 this year! Campbell’s is a locally owned natural grocery store with four locations in Des Moines. Their website is full of healthy tips, recipes and info, but if you’re in Des Moines, check out one of their stores in person!

The Kohl’s A-Team volunteered at the Annual Iowa City CSA Fair this past April. Five volunteers from the Kohl’s Department Store in Coralville worked at the CSA fair for 3 hours. They set-up the room, welcomed visitors to the fair, sold cookbooks and cards, and conducted a survey. The Kohl’s volunteers did a great job and Local Foods Connection looks forward to working with them at other events in the future! As a reward to the A-Team, Kohl’s Corporation was able to provide a $500 grant directly to LFC. Thanks Kohl’s and the Coralville A-Team!
Thanks again to everyone who donates their time, energy and money to support Local Foods Connection!
