Executive Director and Founder

Laura Dowd. Laura answers calls and opens emails. She forwards information, as necessary, to the appropriate volunteer staff member. Laura oversees client relations, volunteer management, finances, publicity, fundraising and day-to-day operations.

The board is responsible for ensuring that Local Foods Connection is fulfilling its mission, setting policies for the volunteer staff to implement and overseeing our activities.

Local Foods Connection is run almost exclusively by volunteers.
